Checked with a Drop of Burgundy
Pietro Filipi Jacket in wool and cashmere | Blazek red knitted tie and pocket square | Hugo Boss Shirt
Because we'll be saying goodbye to autumn very soon, I wanted to bring you something special — my favourite autumn outfit. Warm, beautiful, classy and unquestionably elegant.
I love probably everything about this outfit — every small detail. Wool jacket with a drop of cashmere will keep me warm even if I'm not wearing any sweater or waistcoat under the jacket. The white cotton shirt will allow my body to breath while I'm still looking tailored and sharp. I tied a tie with four-in-hand (or simple knot) knot for maximum simplicity and elegance as typical for Italian sprezzatura. Although cutaway collar may force you to tie a wider knot like Windsor, don't let seduce by your feelings. Tie a simple narrow knot, and your outfit will be at least one level higher. People who know will notice.
Moreover, oh, yes. My new burgundy pocket square is the best autumn pocket square that I ever had. It's simply beautiful, and the fact that it is made of wool proves there is no better pocket square to use in autumn. Double monk shoes in wine red match red knitted tie and pocket square, and these are also one of my favourite shoes in autumn — comfortable and classy look. Grey wool trousers are an excellent choice for those who want to stay in warm. Precisely as a jacket, these trousers will take care of me. Besides, wool is soft and delicate. You won't want them to take off. Well, I hope your rest of the autumn will be as pleasant as mine. Moreover, of course - in beautiful, comfortable clothes.
