I was born and raised in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic in the family of winemakers. I am writing down my lifelong experiences and passion about style with a more traditional approach, especially about tailoring and unique aspects of style.
I am not a fashion blogger nor interested in one specific style of dressing. Fashion fades fast, and I believe there are different occasions suitable for different outfits or accessories. The category I write about is kind of my own category. Involves especially brands focused on quality or with enormous legacy, heritage and reputations behind them, in all cases wearable. Of course, with my favourite touch of exclusivity, if possible. I also acknowledge and praise companies that are relatively young but challenge much older brands or manufacturers that are champions in their categories. To witness this „battle“ and be part of it on customer’s /client´s side is one of the things I enjoy the most. And of course, pass to you such experience and recommendations may be more than useful as it can save a lot of money and help you decide right for your needs.
Finally, I enjoy showing that dress in a beautiful way doesn´t have to be obsolete or not comfortable. On the contrary, everything I do refutes these most common rumours. For this reason, my posts feature garment cuts (especially regarding tailoring), fit, materials, and tips on how to look damn good, appropriate and most importantly feel good with ease. As clothes are inseparably connected to us, have you ever notice that if you feel bad, you´ll most likely dress worse than if you expect a great day ahead of you? That in suit heading for ball or event with friends your mood is much better than sitting in work in your hoodie? Exactly, also the psychic influence of clothes on people is my area of interest.
