SS 20 in Gentleman Store

Ladies and gentlemen. Once more I joined forces with Gentlemen Store in Prague and help them with photoshooting of another (already third!) collection of shirts, this time for Spring/Summer 2020. It slowly becomes almost a habit, but a habit I'm genuinely grateful for, as it's always fun and pleasure to shoot with them.

As usual, you may find the whole collection on their website, but I prepared for you four outfits which we created during photoshooting. The ones that I like most.

The first one is really for warm days - don't be afraid of white chinos. Lately, I found them more and more practical and versatile, especially with a blue checked shirt made of thin and breathable cotton. I ended this one with sneakers worn with no socks. Truly summer combination. One word of advice on this one, note that it is better not to have trousers too tight for summer as circulation of air around your legs allow them to be fresh and not sweaty. Tight pants create more warmness.

The second outfit is more formal with my favourite waistcoat and wool tie. Includes navy MTM suit trousers with pleats but the whole heart of the outfit is a plain blue shirt that blends cotton and linen. Now, if I don't have to be as formal as possible, I like to choose a blended shirt even for more formal occasions in the summer. Especially to feel more lightness and air around my body as also, linen shirts are usually cut to be a little bit wider as linen is not stretchy like cotton.

Another more formal choice that features one of my favourite burgundy silk floral tie and blue-on-blue fleur de lys braces also worn by Ralph Fiennes as M in Skyfall is this combination. I would say, it's a summer office outfit, where your surrounding might forgive you that you take off your jacket. Braces have exquisite sartorial touch on the shirt - a little bit old school but never in the wrong way. I strongly encourage you to try for yourself.

And the last one is a casual easy-going checked shirt with blue and pink colour. The look is done by Tom Ford sunglasses, burgundy chinos and Berwick tan leather belt. In my opinion, this shirt urges you to roll the sleeves up, probably even more than I have it here and enjoy it with chinos or shorts. Moccasins and loafers only. Well, which one is your favourite choice?
