There are certain groups of people, one has a favourite fragrance which is being worn through all kind of occasions. The second one is always discovering new scents with a significant amount of delights.
As I proudly count myself as a member of the second group, my mood lifts up when I was asked to try and express my opinion on one of the new colognes from Beviro. Eau de Cologne which is called Cosa Nostra was an obvious option. A classic formula you would expect from a cologne but also with unexpected notes which is precisely how I like it. Moreover, upcoming days are calling for some new fresh cologne – warm mornings when you can leave your house in a shirt heading towards daily enjoyments. Drinking coffee at street tables, going through new experiences with your friends or slow evenings with a drink in your hand. Also, the name, Cosa Nostra, very well known Sicilia mafia is very bold name choice. Good news is that making of this fragrance was not accompanied by dead bodies and blood in general. At least I think so.
According to Beviro website is Cosa Nostra suitable for Autumn/Winter season with preferred day time of wearing to be evening. Well, I also tent to be in love with heavier fragrances in Spring/Summer evenings. That feels daringly personal, or we may say boldly stylish, and that is what scents are all about. The ones who know my point of view when it comes to perfumes, know that I don’t recognize any preconception. For me, everything is unisex, ready for you whenever you are. Are you in the mood for something heavy and floral in the morning? Go for it. Mood for something bold and unusual in the summer afternoon? Go for it as well. In short, I like fragrances that are unique, personal and either classic with a surprising twist or unusual at all. This one belongs to the first group, and it is its most significant advantage. I’d say we can blame nutmeg for being such a substantial part of this scent.
This cologne is medium lasting fragrance, thanks to heavier notes, it’s longevity is more extended than classic cologne would usually be. It is supplied in 100 ml flacon with their new design we could witness for the very first time just a few months ago. In overall, I like how it looks, which is also very important, apart from the smell, we are also choosing fragrance through eyes.
For you to be able to better imagine how good it smells, I’ll also tell you the formula. The base is created with Vanilla, Cedarwood, Vetiver, Patchouli, Ambra and musk. The heart contains Gerania, Lavender and Nutmeg, and finally, the head is bergamot and thyme.
And as I agreed with creators of this fragrance, I now can give one of them to one of you, ladies and gentlemen. Rules are quite simple.
